I got an email from Sweepstakes.com and clicked the link to register for a sweepstakes. One I registered it went to a screen where it showed 'Get a MacBook Pro for as little as $17.00', so I clicked on that because I am interested in getting my daughter a mac book. It took me to 'Hot Close Outs 2014' where it asked me to register to be able to bid. I never saw anything about purchasing a 'bidding package', and when it asked for credit card info, I assumed it was for possible future bidding, so I entered it. As soon as I submitted it, it said, 'Thank you for purchasing the $99 bid package'! I almost crapped! I made several attempts at contacting them via their 'contact us' form and have not heard back from anyone, ZERO correspondence! In fact, I can't even sign back into the site because it will not take my password! I am SCREWED. There are no phone numbers nor any other form of reaching these scum bags, and I have even contacted my bank trying to stop payment to them, but because it was done via my credit card, I could not do that. I 'registered' with them on Monday, Feb.10th, and the money was just deducted yesterday, the 14th. I hope they can catch these criminals SOON and get our money back.
