Starion energy is susposed to contact you half way through your contract and a few months before your contract is up to let you know your fixed rate is about to expire. I was never contacted by phone or mail reguarding my contract being up. I found out my contract was up because i recieved a $924.39 electric bill. Paying .18 per kw. When i was under the impression i was locked in at .08. Per kw. Starion said there was nothing they could do so i cancled my service with them. I called back and they offered to give me a fixed rate at .08 for 12 months and give me $79 credit.
I said no thanks. The following month was another $900 electric bill because the cancelation wouldnt go in effect right away. So they got me for $1824 in two months.
If i was aware my contract was up in 12 mnths i wouldnt of had this issue.
