Received an Alert associated with my Bank of America Card for 49.95. I immediatly called BOA's fraud department since this was not a charge we had made. They attempted to call Medchelp com but got a wrong number message on one number and a busy signal on another. BOA representative discovered there had been an earlier charge on June 17th, a date when we were out of the country. They've since closed the account associated with my card and are issuing a new card. I really liked the way BOA efficently handled this issue.
How Medchelp com got my card number is unknown as the only on-line charge we've made is to Amazon.com. We have just returned from a trip to Spain were we used this card so perhaps someone there recorded the number.
