The link from IRS.gov advertised a fixed fee for debit card tax payments. Instead I was charged at credit card rates that were over ten times higher. The company refused to refund the difference citing fine print in the contract. Highly deceptive and misleading market practices. I'm surprised that the IRS apparently tolerates this behavior by allowing a link from their website.
