SCAM! SCAM! SCAM! Please stay away!
I recieved fax memo for five-nights and Six days all inclusive vacation deal and up-to 60% off flight for the first 500 callers sent by First Travel SVC.
When I called the 1877-248-5591 listed on the memo, gentlemen by Clayton Hansen explained the vacation package exactly as advertised. Before I paid 348.00 dollars, I specifically communicated to Clayton, that I am only interested to their Hawaii package and he assured me that Hawaii locations are available and should not be any problem booking the reservation. Clayton also explained:
•Email confirmation will be sent to me within 24 hours including details with the resort and their policy.
I waited 24 hours and didn’t receive any email. On 12/8/2014 I called First Travel SVC and spoke to several representatives who kept on giving me different numbers and websites to confirm my reservation including Vacationcities.net and helpdesk reservation specialists 1800-530-0149.
After several attempts, and being left on hold for over 45 minutes at the time, I was finally able to speak to a representative who told me Hawaii is not available and that I have to choose other destinations form the following locations http://vacationcities.net/
After I gave other alternative destinations, the representative stated due to peak seasons, all the alternative destinations that I picked have 299-500 dollars extra fee and must wait to book my reservation until off seasons and immediately hang-up the phone.
When I called back to cancel my reservation, their 1800-530-0149 number was not ringing at all. I tried to call that number from different numbers for over 3 hours and it was not ringing. Even the Citibank dispute representative attempted to call that number and got the same result.
Since 01/08/2014, I have called several times and finally I was able to talk to the manager Gayel who sent me links to choose destination and call back for booking. This was just a tactic to get me off the phone knowing it will take calling from different numbers (numbers that vacation Cities does not have on their reject list) before I get to talk to someone
I called several times in the last few days to reach Gayle and front desk representative by name Jeddiah kept hanged-up the phone as soon as he hears my name. I left v/m to Gayle but nobody contacted me. I have opend up dispute through my bank but PLEASE STAY AWAY...ITS BIG SCAM!!!!They will be nice to you until they get your money, after that everyone is rude and hang-up the phone on you
