I received the physical tax invoice of SGD490 yesterday and got a shocked. I only recalled received a letter from Singapore Company Register to verify information or else company details will be deleted if I fail to verify within (ONE) week. 2 month later which is yesterday, I received a 490 bill from them, i called them and they said all are legal and proper just that I did not read the fine print and they insisted me to pay. I had reported this case to ACRA which they gave me a case number and they are investigating and advise me not to make any payment to them. I made a police report too and we need more business owners to lodge a police report before police can start investigating.
