Bob Tate said he was in Washington D.C. Gave the phone number 202-459-0969 Caller id verifies it as Voice Network I. Then I had to call a number in Las Vegas, Nevada to reinstate the 2nd place winnings of $450,000. at 1-800-510-1714 and speak to Mike Miller. They said they had tried to deliver it once before but it went to the wrong address (my 7 was read as a 9 in the address) There is no such number on my rural route. Then said a courier would deliver it, but had a problem bonding it again with insurance, they would call back. The check is supposedly on a Wells Fargo account. They did have to correct the spelling of my name in their computer and are suppose to call back again this afternoon. No other personal information has been given to them. Again, not sure it is a valid company. Florida call 941-803-4666 was on my caller id.

  • Hello, I work for the actual American Sweepstakes Company. We did not CONTACT YOU, don't have a Mike Miller in our company and no office is Las Vegas. It’s scam artists that use other company’s names. We get over a 1000 of these calls and email’s a year.

We would appreciate you taking our name off this complaint since these types of complaints show us on search engines when people actually try to look for the real American Sweepstakes.

To be declared a winner of a prize of $600 or more you must first sign an affidavit of eligibility, liability, & publicity, then produce identification and your SS#. Anything else is a fraud. DO NOT SEND ANY MONEY.
File a complaint with the FTC online at www.ftc.gov or by calling us at 877-FTC-HELP (877-382-4357).

    Thanks.
