My company received an email that I was invoiced for annual subscription fees of $490.00.
Right after I registered from ACRA, few days later "Data Register Pte Ltd" sent a tax invoice requesting me to enter information into the "Company Register Pte Ltd" website. Thought that it was from ACRA and the company logo bears the lion crest, I entered all the required information into their systems.
2 months later, I received the $490 bill payment! This is a fraud, please investigate, I believe I am not the first one to be cheated...
The charges are not highlighted during register time and not mention from their term and condition.
ACRA, Please advise me what to do. I called, emailed and even sramed at "Data Register Pte Ltd" customer service, mobile phone: 82923428, the staff claimed that he can't link me up to billing department, he can't help....

- I have similiar experience with the rest. I just printed the company profile. Company registered on 9/10/2013. $1 company with registered address at 10 Anson road #24-09, International Plaza, Singapore 079903. The company changed name to Data Register Pte Ltd wef 23/12/13. Company got a Hungarian Director, a Slovakia shareholder, and a local director name: Serene Koh Guat Kuan. Google- found she is a property agent with Huttons, hp available, called her, she kept insisting everything is legal and kept saying should call the company instead.

- It's so disgusting. I just received the tax invoice from them. I lodged a police report and emailed ACRA. ACRA said they are investigating the matter, but I have no idea what they can do unless shut down the company. Don't pay this stupid company anything in the meantime. I think alerting the Police would be a good idea.

Similar experience here. Tried contacting them on the number they published (which was a mobile number) and couldn't get through. Voicemail was full...why am I not surprised.
Definitely not paying them. They're being deliberately subtle on this matter. Appears to be very unethical. -

- As all of us did not pay up there is nothing they can do to us. Let wait for the authority to finish the investigation and see the outcome . At this point of time they wouldn't sent legal letter to us to settle payment. I estimate there are at least few hundred of us receiving this invoices for payment.
