This company contacted me about a payday loan I applied for online. DO NOT give them any personal info... They will rip you off!!! They will continue to tell you all they need is to confirm your info but then they continue to ask additional questions. They will also try to get your credit card info even though they have your bank account info... What?? When I asked why they needed it they just told me it was required. I continued to ask for more info but the rep hung up on me. I called back and a different rep answered. I explained to her what happened on the pervious call and she stated that the call was terminated because I used foul language and wasn't cooperative... Huh??? She then asked me if they could call my place of business and I told them "No" because no one would be available on the weekends. They then asked if they could contact my bank and I said "Yes". After a few minutes on hold, the rep came back on the line and asked me why I lied about no one being available at my job. I then asked her why she contacted my job without my permission when she only asked to contact my bank. I told her to cancel my application because I want nothing to do with a company withholds info and lies to their customers during the application process. If they are willing to be deceitful in the beginning who knows what they are going to do with your info down the road. Also, This company is a sovereign nation located inside the US. This most likely means they are on Indian tribal land and can bypass some US laws. This is also stated on their website. I don't know how this will effect my bank account yet since the transaction occurred today. STAY AWAY FROM MAXLEND!!!
