Ocwen agreed to work out a loan modification program with us on Monday. By the end of the week Friday, they were officially evicting us. You can't talk to these people. They are all based in India and you have to wait hours to get anyone on the phone. Even then, what they say during one phone call is totally ignored or contradicted during the next! I went to a lawyer to get assistance and got swindled out of $2000.00 in legal fees. The case is pending evaluation before the CA Supreme Court. The whole situation is totally crazy making and made our family life hell on wheels for a long, long time.
