I'm In Chicago area, below is snip of email I sent to Attorney in China the weekend after christmas. "I'm sure you've heard this story many times, well I past 2.5 weeks I've been researching companies in Shenzhen China & finally felt I had enough info, response from companies site & even questions of their "company account/ rmb account info" to make informed decision. I finally placed my one order just yesterday day after Christmas, from a company in china & instead of long bank deposit sent a payment WesternUnion to the company http://www.hk-nusitel.com/ Jack Lee or Li email: [email protected] / [email protected] as on website's Contact Us page. Immediately 24hrs after sending- all communication from Jack Lee or Li- stopped. The name he gave of his "Boss" for WUnion pickup was Rongrong CAI. the funds were pickup up Today at Western union (was 12/27/13)"
so that was msg to the Attorney who assisted & with how I can contact local authorities etc. for 3days after I sent emails demandinf funds be returned if no product sent. nearly 4 days No response from Jack lee (who was SO prompt to answer weeks, days & night before sending money). finally he responded dec 2 & 31st stating "dear friend I shipped packed" with a tracking #- yeah right!
i could Not Track that #for 1week, and no futher info of Where he shipped from, what destination address did he add & what did He ship?? Well since last week He has stopped being "helpful", that was last email.

Today is Now Monday January 6th, 2014 i finally get info from SingPost where the tracking goes to? that all they see a week later is a pckage was sent from HONG KONG?! not Shenzhen China where he claims manufacturer company is! - obviously http://www.hknusitel.com/channel.asp?id=1 is a phony- Not a Legitimate manufacturer with fake pictures the website shows.

I also as poster above after going to Alibaba was contacted by a herd of websites offering me quotes- but i never contacted these guys, only went to Alibaba & sent few inquiries there. so there are fake accounts on Alibaba or how else are these pple suddenly emailing me? this is how I "thought" they were from Alibaba but now realize they never where. Also be ware of websit Hongdafen guy name Alex appears fake & read Scam reviews of him too. He stopped reponseing when ikept asking questions week of Christmas & suddenly all the "other companies" stopped same day he did- then days ago he suddenly appears "aplogizing that he went to "my country Los Angeles" & ready to sell- but guess what? suddenly all the "other websites emailed me too" same day he did?!
It's a ring of criminals working together to spend their days acting liek businesses then just get your money- let's all band together to not let them take our money any more!
Report them to their countries authorities, contact Western Union (etc) of video or pics of who picked up money & local police cyber police etc.
Only use Companies with Great reviews & save the names, match them with who YOU contacted not sudden emails with no record or reviews from Alibaba or other sites like it.
