First , I have Never set up auto withdraw payments for this company, I owed Comcast approx. $150.00 monthly. This last month I paid $100.00 on the 8th and spoke with customer care and said I would pay remaining balance on Friday, they asked how would I pay and I responded I would call it in or maybe go to store as I was going to swap out modem.
I did not find out what happened till the evening of Friday (13th) when I got home and on computer to pay bill's when looking to make the $50. payment I looked in my bank account (I deposited $ around 1:pm that afternoon) Comcast had tried to withdraw $100. from my account!! and looking a little closer they had also done the same on the 8th of this same month! I only owed $50.00 Now I have a negative insufficient funds charge of $25. two times the 10th and 13th I did pay and fulfill my obligation as I said I would and pay $50. Comcast confirmed that I did not set any payment or authorize any account withdrawal for Comcast to access, they said they dont know how that could happen, I mentioned my charges and they said all they could do was give me free channels for 6 month's, I do not need the channels I need the $50. and my banks respect that I remain a good customer, this is Not the first time!!
