My wife and I wasted our time with a 90 minute presentation for an alleged travel company called "Exceeded Expectations". It was a travel club without a middleman, offering exclusive discounts on over 5,000 travel destinations. Other than a small blank writing pad to make notes, no written information was ever provided. They wanted $8,999 to join the club. They tag teamed you with different salesman and it was all one, not so legitimate sales pitch. After we balked at the price, they quickly renegotiated to $4,999 and then $3,999. Payment was due today, by credit card and they wouldn't give us any brochures. It was a one day deal only folks!

In return for their time, they promised 2 round trip airfare ticket (voucher) to anywhere in the US, and a 3 night hotel stay. However we would first have to send them $120.00 to receive this "vacation". They claim they are based in Key Largo, FL and their is very little web information available regarding "Exceeded Expectations" or "Orbital Promotions". Another curiosity, the lead presenter claimed that they don't outsource anything for their reservations or call center. Well, when I reserved to attend this scam, the gal told me that she was in Tucson, AZ.
This entire operation reeks of dishonesty and is poorly conducted. Freebies like 2 flights and 3 nights at a quality hotel aren't freely given out. I should have listened to my wiser wife and not have attended!

  • We had the exact same experience. You have documented it very well. When it is too good to be true it probably is not. Our location was the Hyatt downtown Rochester, NY.
