Starr Law Group in Pompano Beach, Florida charged me up front fees to help me with a laon modifcation with my banker. They took my money, told me not to make anymore payments to my lender because I had to be behind on my mortgage to get a modification. so I stopped making payments for 3 months,a horrible mistake. I sent Starr Law Group everything they asked for such as check stubbs and everything else they needed. They always claimed they need more documents. this vontinued until they collected all of the money. As soon as they collected all of the monry they tell me I didn't qualify for a loan modififacation. reason being I didn't have suffient income,whichis n ot true. I was always current with my mortgage until Starr came up with their scam. They didn't do anything but take my money. I receieved a letter from from Sturt Starr infoorming me that i should not discuss this matter with anyone except his his office or his staff. now i am out of a total of $5329.12 plus the $3000. Starr law group scam me out of because they did nothing to improve my situatins. It should be against the law for this type of business practices. Starr said that the modification would take 90 days as soon as they collected they last payment,they informed i could not get the modification. Tis was December 4,2013,with another 27 days to go. They must have scam a number of people with these shady tactics.
