Bought a forklift off of Craigslist. Seller said they were out of town tending to divorced daughter with newborn baby (seems to be the reoccurring story) therefore they were using easyconsignment.com. Did a bunch of research online and did find several positive reviews going back several years (later notice none were current). Website very legit looking. Followed their billing instructions. After payment and no forklift, called and tried contacting via email several times with no response. Then the other complaints starting popping up with similar situations as ours. Beleive that a company by the name of easyconsignment.com was legit and in existence at one time, but went out of business, then fraudsters took the name over to take advantage of their past credentials. There seems to be websites out there to support their creditability, such as justanswer.com but when you try to respond to them, you get "no server found", so they are just fronts to cover for them. Sunbiz.org shows that they just registered 10/7/13 so is brand new. Wish we weren't one of the first to be scammed, otherwise our research would have found this out before it was too late.
