He contacted me through CL and wanted me to send an electronic device to West Africa. This was a series of text messages. He ignored my request for live phone call. had a base story about wanting a gaming consol to make it in time for Christmas to his son. Provided the username/email address -- [email protected]. Gave a home residence of 1500 Kapiolani Blvd, Honolulu, HI 96814 (Fedex store) and used the cell phone number 507-476-1162 (Minnesota area code) He claimed to be work in the Recording Industry Association of America. Thanks to a few post and this site for confirming what I really already knew. It's a shame anyone lost to this horrible person. A site like this a good way to band together against the these thieves.
Surely I can file a complaint against an idiot who tried to scam me. He didn't get a penny but the Monetary Damages field is giving an error for not having an amount. I dont have time to sit here and play so I put 1 dollar. That needs to be fixed.
