A woman calling herself "Michelle Cruz" claiming to be from the "Department of Legal Affairs US Treasury" contacted me to say that my husband is facing "legal action" if he fails to contact "David Williams" at 347-671-0323. She refused to give me any more information than that. I called that number from two different telephones. I did not receive an answer either time. One call rang five times, then went to rapid-busy. The second call rang five times, paused, then rang five times, paused... and so on for about six repetitions. I then hung up. I'm certain this is a scam of some kind, but I can't figure out what their angle is if they're not going to answer the pigeon's phone call. Anyone know what's up with this?

Just got a call from them - i could hear a lot of noise in the background - they must be very busy scamming more
Names used: Mike Tailor on the message but when I called back same voice presented himself as: Russel Reed phone number used was (347)671-0299 I am told this is a Google number(?)
so maybe Google can help the police catch them ? -
