I saw a vehicle a vehicle on Gumtree for the price of R 22000.00 so i contacted the seller via email.He/She replied saying that if i am interested in the vehicle i should send her my details and she will send it to Google checkout. The next day Google checkout sent me an invoice which looked legit asking me to pay 50% deposit. After i paid the deposit they demanded the rest of the payment which i did on friday. Since then i haven't had any feedback from Google checkout since.

The person that sent the invoice for me to make payment used an email - [email protected] There were two names to send the money 1. Henry Moodley , address : 9 crown road ,London and 2. Riaan Duizel , Address : Ottery road , London.

The first person that replied to me used an email - [email protected]. Because this same person replied to another ad on gumtree. They are just moving from victim to victim.

This person is still operating scams on Gumtree SA. I replied to an ad on gumtree SA for 2005 VW Polo 1.6. The same person replied to me.
