Like many of the reviews I have read I thought I was doing business with McAfee. The first person I spoke with (rose)said that my router was hacked and people were monitoring my info. She said that for $199. they would fix the problem.
Reason I called in first place was because of fake ad they sent to me saying my Mcafee was expiring. It looked like a Mcafee but found out it wasn't. Now I have pop ups coming that I cant get to stop and neither can Itec. I suspect they put those on my computer.
Itech blamed Mcafee and Yahoo for the pop ups. I spoke with Mcafee and they say did not place pop ups. Still trying to get in touch with Yahoo. Spoke with credit card company to dispute charge and they said cant do that until it posts.
Spoke with Itech again today because of FLV player pop up,they said they fixed it and it is back again.I got irate today after 3 calls to Itech. They said I was being transferred to customer service, each time I got music and then phone disconnected. On my last try the hone just rang and rang. I think they are blocking my calls now. Am reporting them to the states attorney general.
