My husband then called the company who stated that he would automatically qualify for $18 per hour and they were needed people ASAP as they were a new company and were needing people to send out ASAP. She then told him to come for an interview this morning (10/20/11). There was no company name on the AD so therefore we weren't able to look it up. We misplaced the original address "Ms. Lewis" had given so we tried reaching her all morning with no answer. Finally my husband finds a place he believes to be the security office for the interview and he is greeting by a women that refers to herself as Ms. Lewis.

My husband makes a phone call to me from a 212 area code cell phone @ 10:45 am saying he got there and was needing his supervisors number (which is in our phone). About 11:17 I get a text from "Ms. Lewis" saying not to forget about the interview and to bring his ID, social, certificates, & the $80 fee which she explained the day before would be used after the interview for fingerprinting and that the interview would be on 37th st. I then look online for my bank statement since everything seemed to be getting fishy I hoped my husband didn't pay these people anything. My account was charged $100 by a LJW Security. I then looked up the LJW online and found numerous scam reports.

At 11:30 I then called the original Ms. Lewis @347.241.1996. She stated my husband never showed up and I told her he did since I had called me from a 212 area code phone number. Confused I asked her if there were any other office buildings they had and she said no that was the only one on 37th St.

I then called the 212 area code number back with no answer several times and listening to the voicemail was a women's voice saying she was Ms. King with LJW security services.

By this time I already knew this was a scam since the first time I spoke with Ms. Lewis. My husband finally called me (I wasn't able to notify him earlier because he had no cell phone) I explained to him not to pay any money and that everything was a scam. He tried to get his money back and the guy who "interviewed" him even called me telling me my husband was in good hands introduced himself as Mr. Jason. I told him he was running a scam and I was taking him to small claims court (which I will proceed if I cannot handle this through my bank).

I read online about a scam with LJW and a Mr. Freeman working in this office, I also mentioned to "Mr. Jason" about Ms. Lewis and he said he had no idea who Ms. Lewis was and that they fired Mr. Freeman for running scams.

This lady my husband spoke to who stated she was Ms. Lewis the whole time then signed some paper later as Ms. Pryce (also the same lady who's voice mail was Ms. King)

Basically if I hadn't done research on this company we would have got scammed for more money. I told every bit of my story so people can see how these people work.

My husband stopped about 5 or 6 people from getting scammed. Once I told him everything he went back and told everybody to leave that it was a scam. Ms. King AKA Ms. Lewis AKA Ms. Pryce tried to hush my husband, and when my husband refused to leave before getting his money back, they had him escorted out with the cops.

PEOPLE STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. If you notice all these people are a Mr. or Ms. something..These are obviously not their real names and this is not a legitimate company! All the ads I saw were lead to believe it was for a security job. Not that they send you somewhere else but that LJW is the hiring company.

NOTE: As Mr. Jason was trying to convince me my husband was in "good hands" he mentioned that he was contracted with several companies for security jobs. I didn't fall for any of it and I told him he was a scammer, as he didn't take this lightly.

FYI: They have several ads online with different pay. If you look up (347)241-1996 (Ms. Lewis) you will see the several different ads they have. Unfortunately for me I looked it up all this morning after I found out the companies name. I will later comment on here Ms. King AKA Ms. Lewis AKA Ms. Pryce cell phone number as I cannot find my cell phone at the moment. I just needed to get this out ASAP to maybe help someone in the same situation.

If you are fooled into taking any classes DON'T pay any more money than you already have. Luckily my husband didn't authorize these payments so we are going to fight no matter what because people are not going to take advantage of us. Even if we lose our battle I will still fight for the principle of not giving up to blood sucking scamming corporations like this!

Update: 11/07/2011

All issues have been resolved, owner of company was very helping and understand of situation. He showed that he wants to resolve issue at hand.

  • Also forgot to mention while my husband was in the office there several other people in their saying they were getting sent to different places that were not legit. They were being sent to companies for fingerprinting and interviews, and there was no such offices once they arrived at location to which LJW sent them to.
