Complaint of TOP CHOICE MERCHANT SERVICES/UNITED BILLING SERVICES (ONE AND SAME COMPANY.
Was contacted by Mike Baylor, supposedly VP of Marketing. We would receive 1000 targeted leads for a total of $10,000 (1000 X $10 per lead). They would provide the following:
Email Marketing Leads
Targeted Traffic
Unique Domain Name/Search Engine Optimization
Expanded Downline/Youtube video/BBW Stamp
Coaching
We were offered three levels of earnings. Silver @$295, Gold @395, & Platinum $495 but if we elected to go with them tonight they would give us Platinum for @$295- one time processing fee and a monthly fee of .49 cents for the website.
Given a toll free #1-800-506-9694 for our credit card referrals by Laury Angelas. Our campaign manager was to be Betty Marshall and we were to call her @602-368-3451 with any referrals and she was to be our coach with a call every week to bring us up to date with our account of people they had contacted and were supposed to be working with to switch them over to their service.
The rest is just a repeat of Patrick's complaint.
In the meantime they have changed their name to BBS Merchant Group and continuing to scam others.
They said we would buy our leads from United Billing Services which is who processed our credit cards for all this. Said they were not associated with Top Choice. We have noticed now (after the fact) that there is no address or phone number for United Billing Services and we know they are just a part of Top Choice.
Then a John Jones called us on July 22, 2013 and said since the United Billing Services were not doing their job we should notify the credit card companies that they had not provided the services and for us to charge another $10,000 for leads from E-BIZ-SERVICES, their in house lead company. We told him we were at our limits and couldn't do that. He said wait till we got the confirmation credit from credit card companies and then fax him back the signed agreements for the $10,000.
We finally woke up and I did not sign their new agreement that said I had no rights to contest their charge. Of course I couldn't get on my website and they said they were changing it so United Billing couldn't continue. Lies, Lies and More Lies. So I called and canceled the transaction with the credit card company. In the meantime they changed their name to BBS Merchant Group but I could no longer get into my back office since I didn't sign the agreement. I did finally Google them and found numerous complaints there with approximately the same story as mine.

  • My complaint # 272755 is basisically the same as yours. Are you having any results with your CC company making reverse charges. I was contacted by Digital Blogs (Amerifi) offering me a new coach and wanted me to sign that I would not continue to get charges reversed and no longer pursue any further charges against. I refused and the lady who would only give me "Q" as her name wanted to know what would make me happy. I told her I would only be happy with a complete refund.
