We ordered an Ifrared sauna from this company which was delivered to us in terrible condition. There were so many things wrong with it that we asked for our money back and they refused. They initially gave us a discount because of the known cosmetic defects, but after only two weeks of use, wood started cracking and breaking away from a main panel and cracking at the top of the sauna. "Supports" for one of the panels were mostly broken, causing one carbon panel to bend down and crease. Infrared works vertically, so if the panel is bending down, you get no benefit from that part of the panel. The other carbon panels have something weird going on with them which the company doesn't know what it is, but they refuse to replace them. The workmanship is terrible and their marketing is a scam. They do NOT stand behind their products. So, we're stuck with a lemon sauna which we do not want and they have our money. We have detailed emails and photos which we have sent the company.

  • Rocky Mountain Saunas will issue a refund of $1595 upon receipt of this customer’s Malibu sauna in acceptable condition at the nearest local Rocky Mountain Saunas location: CORPORATE HEADQUARTERS: 2371 La Mirada Drive Vista, California 92081.

    Terms for return of product for a refund are clearly stated in our “Terms and Conditions of Sale” on www.rockymountainsaunas.com

    Rocky Mountain Saunas is willing to waive the $395 Restocking Fee, subject to physical inspection of sauna for any damage incurred in transport/shipping/handling.

    Rocky Mountain Saunas will waive the written requirement that sauna be returned in original packing, subject to physical inspection of sauna for any damage incurred in transport/shipping/handling.

    Rocky Mountain Saunas offered this customer the choice of a full refund with removal of sauna/packaging/pallet from their residence or a discounted price of the sauna in “As Is” condition with Free White Glove Assembly Service. This customer chose to keep the sauna with the free assembly and a $400 discount which was credited to their Visa account on the same day. This customer signed a release for any further compensation in regards to the physical condition of their sauna. Rocky Mountain Saunas expects this customer to honor their commitment.

    A refund may be issued only when the specific terms for product return stated herein and in “Terms and Conditions of Sale” have been met to the satisfaction of Rocky Mountain Saunas.

    This customer’s sauna is in good working condition with all systems operational. Lifetime Warranty on components is in effect. Radio/CD carries a one year manufacturer’s warranty.
