As with many other complainants I thought I was subscribing for a simple trial product that I had seen advertised on a social media website.
At no time during the transaction was I made aware or directed to any terms and conditions page relating to the product.
I became suspicious that something was amiss when the product arrived by 'Royal Mail' from Belgium and not as indicated on the website that products would be shipped direct from USA using UPS carrier services
By chance I also noticed some large and unexpected debits on my credit card account which alerted me to what was going on.
The company did not observe any of my consumer rights under 'the distance selling regulations' we have in the UK and I believe are upheld by the USA FTA.
I would like a refund of all monies paid!
