I have just e-mailed the following To Edinburgh Cupid
I have just noticed a new item on my Santander Credit Card statement:-
18/09/2013 RECURRING TRANSACTION EDINBURGH CUPID £39.99
Until then I had never heard of Edinburgh Cupid. I cannot understand how you could claim that that charge could be authorised. Also I have never authorised any recurring charges, except in payment for utilities.
Looking you up on the web I find that you run dating sites. I have given some personal details to one or two free dating sites. The only payment to those that I have authorised was for a 3 day trial with Benaughty that cost about £3. I had to complain when that did not allow me to contact someone and so proved valueless.
Please refund the £39.99 and tell me how you are doing that.
