I was called 5 times by 2 different reps from Direct Business Company. All the calls referenced that these men were responding to my request for funding for my small business. I have never applied for this or anything like it and don't know how they called my home phone number which I rarely use. I finally decided to call back to one of the numbers as I was concerned that someone had somehow stolen my information during my recent purchase of a house. The man I spoke to asked how he could help me and I told him I was calling only because I had never applied for anything but had numerous calls from him and that I was concerned that someone else had contacted him with my information. He apologized for the contact and the inconvenience and said I would not be called again. A few minutes later, I decided to Google the company name and found a website that listed both of the numbers used to call me. I don't need a lawyer or any representation. I just want people to be aware that this company is still active and to be aware.
