Date Occurred: 10/02/2013 Reported Damages: I also received a voice message telling me to call the number listed or I will be placed on a restraining order. The message goes on to say they will contact your employer, they use a recorded device and they have your name. They want you to have you call them.
SCAMMER: DO NOT RETURN THE CALL!!! They are trying to get money from people. I did not call them back.

Hi Maxine,
I also received the same recorded message twice! Once they said I had 24 hours and then the next said I had only 4 hours left!! That was Wednesday and it is now Friday. I know it's a scam because I have had this happen before. They try to get money out of you but as long as you call their bluff they should leave you alone, hopefully!! Just tell them to go ahead and call the authorities, or file a restraining order, or even tell them to give you written proof (it's the law), once they figure out that they aren't gonna get money out of you they'll stop. -
