After talking with the Mortgage Relief Advocates (The MRA Group) I thought I could trust them, they told me they can help me with a loan modification. I did not know at that time it was against the law for them to try and do a loan mod from state to state. MRA is out of California and I'm in NM. I gave them my checking account info, they took the money and did NOTHING for me. this was 8/2/13 when the check cleared my bank account (after I put a stop payment on it - it cleared anyway because they were creative in sending it through electronically) I have called them daily for over a month, either I get the receptionist who transfers me to never never land or I leave a voice mail and no one EVER calls me back. They have absolutely done nothing for me and will not talk to me. they even tried to take a second $1,000 out but I did not have the money in my account. I had to close my bank account that I had for 20 years! They need to pay for this! I'm not the only person they scammed. I'm going to reach out to anyone and everyone about this company.
