Discovered yesterday when i called vodaphone to check my tariff that KKOMobile has been charging £4.50 per week from my account. I never signed up to their services, do not know who they are etc. I looked on line and see others have been scammed. Their number just goes through to voicemail.
Vodka phone initially said they'd give me a £10 credit to compensate me. I said that was useless and what about £200 given this third party had somehow piggybacked on my contractual relationship with vodaphone to derive a benefit fraudulently and why wasn't vodaphone savvy to them given all the net chat room traffic about how they were a scam. They said it was my issue to take up with them but then said as a one off they'd agree to pay me £21 credit. I said why not 200 was that just too much? They said no it wasn't too much but that it wasn't their responsibility. I am furious. I see it as their responsibility to have better protections on my account to prevent me being scammed. It makes me want to return to the days of monthly paper bills and paying by cheque!!
Can u please help???
