my antivirus program detected a trojan that it could not remove, so i googled online tech support and at the top of the list was omnitech, so i contacted them and told them my problem and they said diagnosis was free, they asked for remote control of my system which i gave them, they ran some scans on my system and determined that the trojan was there, and charged me 249.99 to fix it, which i could not pay all at once, so they only took 49.99 out of my account (refunded after i (Inappropriate Content Removed) about it)they destroyed my commputer by removing my bluetooth,sp1,all my updates my videocards and god knows what else they did to my system, so in the end i told em to screw off and went to geek squad, geek squad fixed my computer good as new remotely, but at a cost of 99.99 and i have to now use gas to bring it in for complete repair after these so called certified techs got ahold of my computer, i think they should have to pay for my data which is 10=1GB and i used about 8 or 9 gigabytes of data through my cellphone, that and the cost of having to hire geek squad should be paid by omnitech, oh and one more thing.....here is where the omnitech actuall staff are located

  • After thorough investigation in this case, we say, the customer’s computer was not unstable or damaged. His Bluetooth system wasn’t broken nor did we remove his hybrid ati/intel drivers.

    The customer’s internet connectivity was very slow which impeded our ability to work faster and to work consistently on his computer to fix the issues completely. Lastly after we fixed his several issues, the customer came with issue: Need to install Intel/AMD catalyst and Video Driver as it was reset due to Windows repair. We fixed it. After the issue was fixed, we re-installed the Advanced System Optimizer in customer’s computer and while scanning the computer system got disconnected. When we called the customer, he asked for refund saying that we screwed up his computer. We requested him to allow us to work on his computer but he declined our proposal.

    Nevertheless, we refunded his $45.00 and canceled his future installment of $200, even after we worked hours for him and fixed his several issues. Below are the transaction details;

    Transaction Approved:
    Auth Code: C36965
    Ref #: 501636965

    Then we sent a mail providing the refund transaction details.
