A lady called Linda Williams at Earth Trade Company contacted me with a Purchasing agent position. Once I sent my job aplication she offered me the job. On 10/7 she gave me a bank acount information from bank of america to pay the credit card balance. The payment cleard my bank the next day and I got her order to buy 9 ipads. I purchase them at apple store and send them to Russia with the USPS labels they have provided me on Tuesday 10/11. That same day Linda told me to pay about $8500 to make another purchase, however, my bank did not clear the funds the next day, they told me it will take til 10/17. On Friday 10/14 I saw the original paymentof $10,355.58 I imeadiately said they trick me. I went to the post office to stop the shipment but it was too late. the inspector at the post office try to do everything posible and gave me the contct of the post office in Rusia. I hope they help on this. I wil do everything posible to sue this companyand raise a lawsuit against them. This is totaly unaceptable and I know people mabeing scame like me. Dont accept these job offer. Stay away from this!y say how stupid me or othe people are to fall in this trap butin thisbad economy when people are out of jobs, find job paying them les and need to pay their debt it is easy to l in this trap. These companies play with our minds by offering above averag salary for part time an fulltime job plus commission. This is the main way how they get people attention. Please stay away from these scam dont be another victim. I want everyone to be aware because I am sure more people are geting scamed. I want those scamers that took my money dont continue to profit anymore. The police and the goverment should get involved and put them in jail. They should trace their phone number to know where exactly they are located. Those bitches! karma is a bitch and at the end they wil lose more. What you sow is what you reap!!

This has been a misunderstanding. Earth Trade contacted me yesterday and they have paid my credit card back! I hope I can continue working with them now! sorry for the above post!

Sorry to say but the 2nd payment they made bounce today again! In fact my credit card company said the bank of america checking number they provide is fake! This is all fake. Stay away from this!

  • Thank God this has been a misunderstanding. The company contacted me yesterday and they made another payment to my credit card to compensate the returned payment. I hope I can continue working with them and these type of misunderstanding dont happened again.

  • Hey Guys, everything seems fine now with the job. at first I was so happy to get this job because it look great to me. I am only doing it part time and was even thinking to switch to full time but when the issue happen last friday I was told at the post office these are scam. then I went on the web and found out a company called TMS Trade and Marketing Services scam people the sameway but my manager at Earth Trade clarify everything yesterday and she told me they are not a company that do scam, she took care of the payment and I'm glad she's letting me stay. I hope this work in the long term.
    Guppie, how long you being doing this for? Did you get your regular salary check already?
    Angela, I will send to your email the article of the other company that scam some guys that made me think I fell on the same trap.

  • I started around same time as you. I'm doing full time. Nope not paid yet suppose to be paid on the 24th. Just so you know I questioned Linda on you original post this morning cause as you can imagine it threw up a huge flag. Unfortunately your story and hers don't match. Here is her email to me:

  • Hello Guppie and Yois! I was just offered a position with Earth Trade Company last Wednesday(10/12/11) as purchasing agent as well. I returned all my paperwork back to Linda on 10/13/11 and my conformation email as well. I have sent repeated emails and phone calls to Linda with no return email or reply to anything! I was wondering what is the problem with this company if they are legit, and how long it took for you to get started after the job was offered to you. Is Linda that busy and difficult to get ahold of, or is this another red flag on this position? Any advise or info from you guys since you are working the job I applied for, was offered the position from the company and Linda, now no word or anything from them! Very Strange to me

  • I would hold off and not try to get started so fast. There are lots of red flags going up. Today I had a huge payment problem with them. They paid me immediately but today the check bounced. They claim was a mistake on there part which I am hoping desperately but not so sure. I won't know for sure for another 7 to 10 days. If this turns out to be a scam they got me real good for I am working for them full time and did several large orders.

  • everyone that is involved in this company needs to be extremely careful. If I were you I would do nothing further till your certain everything you have done with them so far has cleared. They are paying immediately but 7 to 10 days later the trouble starts. Payments are reversing and you can't get the merchandise back you sent out its to late in the process. I will keep everyone informed as thing transpire and hopefully I will be able to tell everyone that I was wrong it was a big mis-understanding but I have serious doubts at this point.

  • Angela. Don't sign off for them credit card either. I found out that they can link it to you and then you end up paying the bill. Plus this company doesnt exist. Linda knows she got caught so she may comeback with a new name and new company name doing other ppl the same. And then ur stuck with their credit card pmt since the company is not real. I called Switzerland myself and spoke with the owner and he said he only has business in Germany and Switzerland no where else. (Inappropriate Content Removed)

  • I was contacted by Debbie just this month and was given a formal job offer - complete with a thorough job description, payroll form and detailed information regarding compensation. I have spoken to her twice - there is another phone number for her - 718-473-0790. She claims that the opportunity is legitimate but is unable to provide any other contacts to confirm any information. I emailed the BBB in New York last week, but their response only advised as to how to determine if they were a member and that there is no requirement to register with them. I appreciate the heads up on this one - and am glad that I finally found this web site that confirms that she is a fraud. Hopefully anyone that might have been burned by her in the past now has a way to have the authorities track her down and hand out some justice.   • If anybody has contact with this Linda/Debbie person write it all down and post it on here. These are wicked people who steal millions of dollars from people daily and the police can't seem to catch them. Maybe we can all work together and put an end to this horrible scam.

  • Debbie called me yesterday, but did not leave a message. She sent me an email shortly afterward asking me for the credit card information so she could get me started on my first assignment - after the credit card balance was paid off. I asked for the names and phone numbers or email addresses of two people that have already started as purchasing managers and how I could contact her manager so I could verify some information. She responded saying that she was unable to give me that information due to company policy. I emailed her again asking for the name and phone number or email address of anyone else that works for ACR Trade. She responded that she did not want to waste any more of her time or mine and that there were others who applied for the job that she could contact to get started. Once again - she has used the phone numbers posted above to contact me - and her email address is [email protected]

  • I started work with ACR Trade on 10/15/13. I also was contacted by Debbie Hoffman via email. I completed all paperwork except a w-2. When I asked her it she said there would be a two week probation period. After the two weeks my package (w-2, insurance) would be mailed to me. I made three purchases at Best buy totaling 6,600.00. I faxed her receipts as instructed. Once she had the receipts she emailed me the bank info to make payment on my credit card. As of today no charges have been reversed on my card. I contacted my bank immediately and informed them of what was going on. They closed my credit card accnt and referred my to their fraud division. I am in the process of filing a claim for the charges I incurred and paid on instructions. I have every single receipt and email since day one. When I found out about this scam I called and left her a voicemail indicating I knew what she was up to and stressed that she needs to make good on the charges on the credit card. I also spoke with a retired NYPD cop who said it will be like looking for needle in a hay stack in finding these people, but if I have an address I should drive there and see what it actually is. Maybe there is someone there that can point me towards her. I will not give up on find this woman and getting justice.
