I made a deposit of $6,000 for my son to attend Sam Rine's basketball academy for the academic year 2013-14 but decided against him attending after he spent the month of July 2013 at the academy. The housing situation was atrocious, the bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen were very dirty and untidy. Players had no real nutrition plan for the month and lived on fast food and ate only when transportation became available. The summer program was initially included as part of the overall year long program as it relates to cost then I was later charged after the fact for the summer program which was contrary to the original agreement.
