I looked at what both these companies had to offer, the presentation was plausible, claimed they were free sites/websites, then came the up selling on the website hosting which increased the price from zero to megabucks. Anyone else had the same problem?

  • Yes, indeed I know some use the same trick. Tell you it is a free ride and "we are so nice" that we will give u a website cost like $1995 on "us". And then u figure u can't go to the next step without buying the domain/hosting. The real ugly truth is, somewhere online u can bid for a wholesale of many website templates and script. All they do is either sell it on Flippa, ebay, or in this case, a "sweet" deal that they try to sell you. But then for those who aren't web developers, then buying a website on ebay still more economical then buying it on flippa or spending like thousands of dollars on web dev. Why? To create a website, in my past experience, I had hired web dev company that keep in touch with me as a rep, then there is the designer, and programmer. To convey your idea that the whole team understand sometimes is hard. Even I had experience in web site, me too, wasted a great fortune on web development. So depend on if you already have hosting and domain. I got my own hosting at hostgator, so i won't join such program. But if you are fresh, and haven't setup hosting and domain yet, an that you are not technical, it can work out with her deals or any other similar deals. Do your research, don't just hear her out. There are option out there similar to this. That's just my 2 cents.

  • Ashamed to admit I fell for it too. 10/28/13 heard the video, signed up and paid $262.80. I do have the website, but as far as not having to pay for anything, that was a crock, and I haven't heard a thing from make money with meghan or empire network since I first filled out the form after watching the video.
