Budget uniform

We have a uniform contract with Budget Uniform in Gardena Ca for the past five years, our 5yr contract comes due Nov 5 2011. We recently started to see some unusually high invoices mainly in the extra fees.

We asked the route driver to have the sales manager contact us regarding the high charges , the sales manager never called for three weeks,

We then stop signing the invoices, hopefully they will then call us. The driver askd us to sign a electronic tablet to show he was here.
We found out later that he had lied to us, we were signing a electronic invoice. Finally the Friday before a holiday weekend the manager called, I was out of town and asked him to call me after the holiday.

That Monday another uniform company came by and quoted us. They were 30% less, in tough economic times 30% is a lot. We then emailed Budget Uniform to cancel our service, if they can not call us regarding invoice problems, I don't want their service. The manager was at our door the next morning and told us our contract had automatically renewed for another 5yrs. We needed to give written notice of cancellation 90 days prior to the termination date.

We had missed the termination date by 10 days, the same 10 days they decided not to call me, hum.... A bit dishonest!! and a terrible way to run a service business... to trick us into a new contract

They now want $30,000 in lost revenue, what lost revenue, they have not performed a service nor have theye given us new uniforms.
