A white guy pulled next to me at a Suntrust Bank and told me he had some electronic items that was given to him by his company and that he wanted to dispose of it at give away but reasonable price. Initially, I told the guy I do not need it but became attacted to it after I saw other electronic equipment like a projector and he specifically pointed to the surround sound home theater which he said cost about $4000.00 and was willing to flip it for just $300.00. Since I did not have that much with me I said ok what about giving you $150.00 cash and a check for $100.00. He agreed. I thought if he was faking something, I will be able to get him before he cashes the check. When I got home, I just opened it to confirm that it was new and I closed it right back untill a few days later. when eventually I opened the box, what I found was nothing more than speakers and an outdated home theater system that's incompactible with many electronic appliances in the market today. The equipment is not worth $100.00.
The guy cashed the check the next day before I could stop it. I am still looking for the quy. I have requested for a copy of the check from my bank and a video of the man following me into the Bank is also being requested in order to help track him down. What a fraud!
