I looked on Google under AOL places to get my computer fixed and came upon the above company. Phone#1-855-837-9965. He said he was in India. The first guy I spoke to, quoted me $199.95. I told him I could not afford that as I am on a Fixed income. He said are you on Social Security and I said yes. So, he said since I am on S.S. I would only have to pay $99.95 for a lifetime warranty and could call as many times as I needed help after they fixed my computer, even if I got a different computer. So I agreed. He transferred me to Tech and he asked some questions and then had me sign in and give him permission to take over and fix problems. The first guy had told me I would have to send a check or money order the next day. I said check and he asked for check number. When Tech was done he put an icon on computer with amount due and address to send to. A little later, I turned on computer and the same warning came up that was supposed to have been fixed with other things. I called them back and a Tech fixed the problem and said I have now used my 1 fix, any other problems I would be charged for. Said the lifetime warrenty is only on the security system. I said I was not told that. He said that was why I got the discount and not because I am on S.S. I told him the first guy lied to me. Then I began to suspect a scam. I then called the number again and asked for a supervisor and explained everything to him and told him if not given guarantee of having the full benefits of unlimited fixes, he will not get my check tomorrow and I will contact the media, newspaper and Police. He said he will have to speak with his boss tomorrow and call me back. I told him if he does not call before Post Office closes, I cannot send check. I do not know whether to send the check no matter what they tell me because I do not know if I am being scammed.
