I received a call from a Jason Matthews from Payday America (phone number 917-387-1618) he claimed to offer a federal funding personal loan. He asked that I show proof of my 240.00 savings by purchasing a MoneyPak greendot card and giving him tje number on the card. After asking him several questions feeling it was a scam he provided a Federal confirmation number. He stated I would receive the 240.00 back along with the direct deposit of my loan amount. After him convincing me that it was not a scam and contining to put me on hold to retrieve confirmation numbers he eventually hung up on me and would not return my phone calls. When I called him from another phone number he answered and acted as if he knew not who I was. I am a single mom of two and needed the 240.00 he scammed me of!
