Joined amac without checking i horiughly. Newmax magazine reported AMAC was the answer to AARP. After joining tried to access their phone to the Insurance section as called out on the letter addressed to me when I joined. The web page is www.amac.us. when using the insurance number they refererred to punch a number. when this was done was informed number was not available at this time and phone disconnected. The web page gave the home office number one an 800 number and the other was631 589 6675. Both numbers were an answering machine that told you nothing. Tried for five days in case their phone system was fouled. Sent email to [email protected] per info on web page. Got an answer several days later appologizing for the delay. Tried to contact person that sent it as he had all the information where to send it. email server said it was not deliverable. Finally dawned on me this was a very sophisticated scam as it is compete with web pages with what looks like good information. Haven't checked them all naturally but couldn't get any information from anything. The only thing that works is the application for membership which will take your money. Try the web page www.amac.us and try to get answers. Just don't join as they have a terrific write up on their wb page as what they are doing.. I'm mad at newsmax for putting out the info that i was a good deal. They didn't look into the organization as they should have before they published the info.

  • You are actually a liberal instigator trying to spread propaganda against a conservative organization. Period. I am an AMAC member and have never had any problems with access. AMAC is NOT a scam but you are.
