I accepted 2 collect calls and was quoted for each call approximately $15.00. I cannot remember the exact amount and at no time was I ever sent a text message with the details of the charges or any applicable payment information. I googled this company found their direct website went on hoping to obtain the necessary information and of course could not access anything because of course I did not have the access code because I never received a text message with it. What is really frustrating is from the first automated call I received I was being told I owed twice the amount I was quoted when I accepted these 2 phone calls which is extremely upsetting because you have know idea why or what exactly you are paying for $59.62 is a far cry from $30.00. I have tried everything a person could do to reach this company by going on line, calling directory assistance, the better business bureau, etc. and there is no way to make contact with them. No company should be allowed to arbitrarily charge you whatever they want and refuse to be contactable and hold you over a barrel when it comes to protecting your credit because you have nothing in writing to refute the legitimacy of the charges. Everyone should have the right to know what they are buying and paying for in additiona reach that company. This unacceptable that a company gets away with saying you owe us but we do not owe you an explanation as to if, how, when or why! No one should have to pay for something that; 1. is different than the quoted agreed upon amount especially without discussion. 2. I have no idea what it is I am pay for and 3. No itemization in writing. This is completely unacceptable for any company to not have a phone number, address, or a billing department/customer service to speak with. I ended up paying their extored amount even though I have no idea what the other approximate $30.00 was for for but out of fear of the $ amount increasing, being turned over to collections and therefore effecting my credit, etc! but I can assure them that this had better be the end of their deception because I will move heaven and earth to fight it. I have contacted the better business bureau, filed a compaint with the FCC and I am willing to fight the fight because this is simply not okay.
