Microsoft sent me to their tech which I was assuming that it would be a good one... Not at all. They said that I had viruses, took control with a remote applet and screwed everything up worse than before. I figured this out through being smart enough to go back through the steps they made me do and because they made me go into an option on start up that was very wrong, almost crashed my computer. I couldn't even open a web page. They left the remote control applet up too. It took me calling back for them to make it disappear while acting like they weren't the reason it was up and also not letting me know that they were the ones who took it down. So much confusion that I have cried my eyes out. They almost destroyed my computer. DO NOT DO IT.

  • Obviously, she had an issue which is why she contacted us. However, Microsoft never redirected their customers to us nor they do so. Generally, we access the customer’s computer using a standard and respected remote access tool which is needed to allow us to be able to check any issue in detail and to work on the customer’s computer so as to fix the issue. Our process is very transparent and the customer can monitor every step performed by our technician. If they wish, they can immediately terminate the remote access. She might have not given us a chance to perform complete resolution steps or to remove the remote control applet from her computer.

As these allegations are posted anonymously, unfortunately we are not in a position to offer any comments as to what actually transpired. We invite this person to provide some more details like, date of contacting us, the customer ID she was given, so that we can investigate further into this particular case.

This supposed employee is off-base on all his comments. This might be an ex-employee, or it could be an entirely bogus claim. We do not scam anyone. We have thousands of customers who are in long time relationship with us and they are happy with our reliable support. We have A+ rating from the Better Business Bureau, which tells about our success story and trustworthy service. We are a large online support organization and we are managing our business from all over the world and we are headquartered in Los Angeles. We have offices and technicians in The Philippines, India AND the USA. If this was a real employee, he would know that. OmniTech is an incredibly friendly and positive place to work, which also means “high commitment and motivation from the team”. We haven’t heard much from our employees who find this place, difficult to work in. Our HR department and employee management team are always available to hear any employee’s concerns and they take immediate corrective action if the concern is valid.
