A teenager came to my house and talked to my wife about some trip to Spain to get out-of-class experiences. He asked for subscription to some magazine as a way of sponsoring. We thought US was a nation with trusts and wrote him a check of $44. Never got the magazine. Wrote to them on their crappy website and got no reply. Lost the trust and will never believe who knock our door.
