Young man came to my door claiming to sell books and magazine subscriptions towards a contest to help fund his college education. His name is listed on my receipt as Arthur Vincent. I paid cash for a book for my baby and never received the book after 4 months. All listed numbers on my receipt are disconnected. I have emailed the listed email with no response and cannot get on the website. This is an absolute scam and rip off. I am glad I did not give him a credit card number. Unfortunately, for all the people who do this door to door sales honestly, they will not get any of my business for something that is actually a good cause.
