About 1 yr after purchasing an IPAD 3 the IPAD starting turning extremely hot (too hot to hold) while using a children's app or watching Netflix. About 2 weeks after noticing this heating problem I noticed that the screen had cracked from one corner of the pad across to the opposite side and end of the screen!
The IPAD still works but it also remains cracked and runs very hot even sitting on it's power stand doing nothing.
I'm afraid the heating problem is going to continue to emit this intense heat until I can' t hold it at all and eventually will crack or explode in my grand children's hands.
Apple is aware of the problem but is not doing anything about it (at least not for little old ladies) although I have heard if your a demanding, forceful male they gladly replace your hot, cracked IPAD with a new one immediately. What does a female have to do to get a new, replaced IPAD 3 from Apple, go to court, hire an attorney; is there anything I can do that's fair no matter what my gender?
