I purchased 2 bottles + 3 free bottles ($95.70)from an add that was on the right-hand side of the Dr Oz website. I regretfully accepted an offer for 4 addition bottles ($99) during check out; which made the total order $194.70. The site advertised a 30 day money back guarantee. After recieving the product a week later, I called to return the additional 4 bottles that I impulsively purchased. The representative stated I would have to return all bottles (from both orders) and be charged a restocking fee of $5.95 x 9 bottles. After expressing my dismay regarding the “re-stocking” fee, the representative offered me a 30% discount for my purchase price to continue to use the product. I specifically asked if this discount would affect the 30 day money back guarantee, to which the representative stated it would not and proceeded to explain the return process if I was not satisfied within the 30 days of the purchase.
Because I did not see satisfactory results, I called the customer service number 2 weeks later to return the remaining bottles and receive my refund. I was told by 3 representatives that I opted out of the 30 day money back guarantee when I accepted the discount, and they will not accept any return nor refund any money. 2 representatives would not transfer me to a supervisor, and when I was transferred to a supposed supervisor by the 3rd representative, the supervisor gave me the same story, stating that he apologized for the misinformation, but there was nothing more he could do. This company is definitely in the business of keeping your money, any way they can. SCAM!!!!!!
