Been Using PC Cleaners, Inc as per recommendation C-Net. What a mistake. The product is a registry tool cleanup if that, but also is advertized as an anti-virus. In comes the problem,had two computers hit with a virus. Called PC Cleaners, Inc. spoke with someone from India, requesting help to remove the virus, so she remote into one of computers. Instead of fixing the problems, she explained that I had several error issue and it would cost $225. to fix. Since this was the second time this happened in less than five month I told her that I take care of it locally or by a new computer for that price. She went into the hard sell and called in her manager who accused me of me accusing them of causing the problem. Then he told that PC Cleaners, Inc does not readily fix a virus problem, but spot and removes them after they are installed or after the damage is done I thought.
I end the call and had my computer fixed locally for $60, and installed Microsoft Essentials.
My opinion is both the company and the product are a rip off.
