I was contacted by South West Lending saying I had been approved for a 20 thousand loan with an 8.75 percent interest rate for a six year term. I was to contact Diane Halliday at t 1-877-857-6209 Ext# 369. After discussion I was told that I would need to send 760.00 for an insurance payment. After I had sent that, Ms. Halliday called me the next day and expressed her surprise that I had not received my loan yet. Upon checking things out it was noted that in the contract all new clients had to send 6000 for the insurance payment. I told her there was no way I could do that, so she said she would talk to legal and get back to me. It was decided that if I sent an additional 800 dollars, then it would be okay, and the company would cover the remainder. It did take me time to get the money together, and by the time I did get it, Ms. Halliday was no longer answering her phone. Only ever got voice mail from then on, until June 5th, when I tried the number and it did not even go through.
