Although I avoided charges for monthly membership fees, I have been waiting for shipping rebates that I claimed/filed on April 12, 2013. The company's standard processing time is 3 to 6 weeks. The company stated they mailed the checks on May 17, 2013, but I have not received them. The company also advised me that replacement checks cannot be issued for 90 days if the originals are undelivered. However, I should mention that it took nearly two (2) months to receive the company's initial welcome letter. Somehow I think this might be by design.

I do have the following ideas for other individuals that have become customers of this company as follows:

1) Cancel your free trial membership within the first thirty (30) days otherwise the monthly charge is $12.97. I did this on-line and received a confirmation e-mail from the company. By the way, I could not find the monthly fee on the company's website, but it is stated in the welcome letter.

2) While your on-line account with the company is active, access your account information, and delete the credit card information they obtained from you or a participating on-line retailer.

3) If you need to claim a shipping rebate from the company, remember to file the claim form within thirty (30) days from the purchase date of the qualifying item. The company states they will deny claims filed late. Claims require a rebate number from the company, but may be submitted via e-mail to: [email protected].

4) If you need to contact the company, the customer service number provided to me upon initial sign-up is: 1 (866) 416-8958.

5) If have on-going problems with the company, I would suggest submitting a detailed complaint to the on-line retailer with which you became a member of this program.
