I called in thinking I was speaking to Apple Support and was taken through a IVR system and finally to a live person. Once I was speaking to them I was asked the usual questions about my phone and what was going wrong. Ultimately, I was asked for $69.99 (Apple Care extended warranty for 1 year) for technical support. I was told I would be sent an email confirming my purchase and a link for my support call. I was also told that this support would cover all my Apple products for 1 year. I spoke to Apple and they wanted NO parts of these claims and took no responsibility for the misrepresentation... very annoying!!
