I, Adrie Faye Buckner-Johnson contacted Ever home Mortgage after being a loyal home owner for about 16 years. We were told that we could get the mortgage rate lowered and some bills paid off because of the equity in our home and no late payments. I am currently battling Rheumatoid Arthritis, three dark brown spots in my left breast, and no job. Ever home began the loan process on the 5th of September 2012. We completed the application and were told it would take a few days. We provided the loan representative our credit card number so he could charge the application fee to our credit card. After one month went by my husband and I called the loan representative and were told it would be completed shortly. After two weeks we received another set of documents and were advised to sign the documents and return them by FEDEX we did the next day. Another month went by and the representative stated he needed to have another credit card to have the appraisal on our home located at (Personal Information Removed). We provided the loan representative with the credit card and no one came to do the appraisal of our home because I was home all day every day. After that we received another loan application to redo because the amount was wrong. We did that and returned it FEDEX and heard nothing from Ever home. October 2012 we received a letter from the insurance company who informed us that our insurance had not been paid on our home since September 2012. We talked with the insurance representative and she allowed us to do the process by telephone so we could keep our insurance. November 2012 we called Ever home and they stated they were about to complete the application and send us the final draft. We did not here from Ever home until 4th January 2013 when my husband a military soldier of 27 years called and was informed that our bills had been late and they would not be able to complete the loan process. Now we are facing a low credit rating and our bills are being paid. We talked with the loan officer and he said there was nothing he could do and no one would work with us since we had a low credit score.
On 16 May 2013 we received another letter from Ever home stating they would no longer pay the insurance premium on our home. I called to inform the specialist at Ever home that they cannot be paying the premium on our home because we have being paying the insurance premium since October 2012. I called the Athens Annuity & Life Assurance Company (Athene) and she informed me that Ever home has not paid the insurance premium since February 2013. Please tell me that something can be done to the representatives at Ever home who played the games and lied and now our credit rating/score is awful. After being in our home for 16 years with equity in our home we cannot get the money to help us financially and medically.
Tell me, if this is the type of respect a soldier gets after serving in Korea, Washington State, Oklahoma, and Kuwait and retiring as an outstanding soldier of 26 years; I think not. If so I think it would be best if we just tell each and every soldier affiliated with Ever home not to worry because Ever home does not have their back.
