I went to Galiano Career Academy (GCA) which it’s a Technical school were they offer provided various courses for degrees like Pharmacy Tech , medical assistance, billing and coding and administer assistance only in a couple of months . Also they said they would help you on getting an accredited high school diploma during your course, and they kept stating that everything was accredited. So I started the course for pharmacy tech. in 2009 while also trying to get my high school diploma since I didn’t have mines. When I graduated and finished the test that they gave me for the high school diploma I went and tried to get my high school diploma from them and they said that was provided by another school and which I would had to contact them which I could never get a hold of them also I found out that the school itself it’s no accredited and that they had trouble with the law and FBI agents raided the school and shut it down due to tax problems and more that they did not wanted to share. The price for the course was 18,000 but with financial aid and all I only had to pay was 10,000. Like I said I already graduated but I got out with basically nothing because the course wasn’t accredited or the high school diploma which I never got now I owe all this money that I’m paying and can’t get in to another school until I pay this off because my loan went into default since I couldn’t find a job and now I’m trying to pay back but I still can’t get in to another school and my credit took a hit because of it. What I’m trying to find out if there is any way that I can sue for this and get some or at least the loan writing off. If anybody knows what I should do and have any legal insight they can help with please comment me or give me your info so I can contact you it will be greatly appreciated.
