I bought a car in 2007 from one company and than found out that my loan contract was sold to Santander consumer with out being notified. I bought my car for about 18,000 after all numbers added up .I am still paying on it still till this day , they keep saying I am behind three months when I know I am not , than my statements every month the payment due date is totally wrong month and the amount due is more than my payment. Plus I called and talk to them about paying it off totally and wanting to know what the payoff is and they said its 12,900 but the balance of my account is a little over $11,000 , I asked them that that don't make any sence at all the payoff should be lower than the balance of the car than they argued with me over the phone about it I told them if they come and get it they will not get what I owe out of it because the blue book value is only $6000 now as of today. Santander is ripping people off out of their money something needs to be done about it.
